Physician's Assistant (PA-C) 

Job Description:

Must hold a Physician Assistant License or be a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Ideal candidate will demonstrate 5 years of experience in a physician office setting. Constantly stand, walk, reach, frequently sit, talk/hear, push/pull, bend/stoop, kneel and crouch, and occasionally lift 1-50 lbs. Willing to travel weekly between rural outreach clinics in Hillsdale and Marshall and participate in a 1-in-5 night on-call schedule. Provide comprehensive patient care including performing physical examinations, routine surgical procedures, and diagnosing/treating urological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with Physicians on complex cases and ordering/interpreting routine laboratory and radiological studies.
  • Conduct post-operative follow-up evaluations and manage the care of assigned patients.
  • Assess patients, write appropriate notes for physician review, and write prescriptions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team in planning and coordinating care for patients.
  • Counsel patients regarding preventive urological health care and wellness.
  • Maintain a structured EMR charting system and strictly follow all HIPAA privacy and security procedures.

Communication: 

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and interact professionally with all members of the healthcare team. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, organized, and able to function under pressure while serving as a role model for patient privacy and confidentiality.

Authorization Specialist

Job Description:

Insurance verification, prior authorizations, and patient eligibility to ensure timely and compliant healthcare services. 

Key Responsibilities:

Authorization Specialists are responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, obtaining prior authorizations, and coordinating with healthcare providers and insurers to ensure services are approved before delivery.

Ultrasound Technician 

Job Description:

Associate or bachelor’s Degree in in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited sonography program. Must hold credential in abdominal sonography and be a register sonographer by the ARDMS. Sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, hearing, listening, speaking, reaching, pushing, pulling, finger dexterity and/or feeling, and near vision. Willing to travel. Proficiently operate ultrasound equipment to perform ultrasounds of the kidneys and bladder, scrotum, and prostate.

  • Accurately differentiates between normal and pathological findings.
  •  Review the patient's medical record to obtain necessary clinical information including patient history, lab results, and radiology reports.
  • Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and assist with procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic information.
  • Accurately identify and label/annotate images. Communicate results of diagnostic examinations to the interpreting physician.
  • Assist in the clinic which may include but not limited to: rooming patients, urine dip stick testing, and assisting with minor procedure with provider.
  • Assisting with prostate biopsy procedure which includes the following task Preparing specimen containers prior to prostate biopsy procedure

Scheduling / Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description:

A clinic receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors and patients to the clinic, managing patients' health data, and scheduling appointments. They also ensure patients are kept updated on changes in scheduled appointments and provide correct answers to patients’ questions.
